Merry Christmas
Under
the Christmas tree
with all the winter wonders, lights and wreaths,
we wait patiently for the first snowflake to start dancing on the breeze.
From
the North Pole
where the elves are out
shoveling snow off the walks and stairs,
Father Christmas will soon leave for his whirlwind world tour with snow and winds.
With
a click and clack
and a great big pack in hands,
he will climb down the chimneys nimbly and fill our red stockings with holiday delights.
Yet
I am sure from the top of chimneys,
he will look out to see who are the gleeful cherubs
proclaiming winter's cheer and filling in this world with jingly, jolly laughter and smiles.
Merry Christmas
and
Happy New Year to You All!
