整洁
整洁、干净是英语作文的第一印象，能不能得高分，和老师的第一印象有特别高的关系。
阅卷老师一天要批阅几百份试卷，根本没有时间细看的。看到试卷的第一眼，就是判断写的是不是干净、字体够不够漂亮，字数够不够多，其实内心已经给了一个印象分数。
无论如何都要保持卷面干净，即使写错了一个字，就让它错下去，也不要涂改、删减。涂改影响美观，删减符号等于告诉老师，你写错了，老师会特别关注你的错误。当然，错误大的话，必须要删掉。所以在稿纸上草拟好要点在抄到卷面上就特别重要。
如果你写的作文整洁、干净，你的英语书法又很漂亮，即使有一些语法错误也会得到想的不错的分数。 附上三种英语书法练习。
然后就是看是不是三段论？是不是有套话？要点有没有？错误多不多？再酌情加减。
三段论
中考最流行的结构就是三段式，深受各地区中考英语写作阅卷老师的喜爱。
不管书信、记叙文、还是议论文，都可以以三段论的形式出现。因为这种结构十分清晰！
记叙文：背景——起因、经过、结果——启发、感悟
议论文：观点——分析——总结
说明文：提及事物——描述事物——总结
书信：提及话题——讨论话题——结语
看图作文：背景——起因、经过——结果
套话
英语作文一定要使用套话，既能帮助拓展思维，让逻辑清晰，又能增加写作字数，让英语写作变得很简单。
套话通常指逻辑词和习惯表达。比如通常表达逻辑关系“第一、第二、第三、第四”等的表述有两种“first，second，third，finally”，以及 “first of all, in the second place, what is more”。 无论使用哪一种都能告诉阅卷老师，这篇写作逻辑清晰。
书信中常用的“glad to receive you letter”“I am looking forward to hearing from you”等等。
真正有经验的阅卷老师会很注意这些逻辑连接词，因为这些词体现了这个文章的思路。 所有，这些套话能赢得老师的好印象，感觉你的英语写作水平很高，分数自然也就低不下来。
使用套话的另外一个好处是大大增加了字数，让写作更容易。用“first，second，third，finally”有四个词，而用“first of all, in the second place, what is more”则有10个词。表达自己的看法时，即可以使用 “in my opinion”, 也可用“as far as I am concerned”前者用了 3个词，后者则翻了一倍，用了6个词。
善用套话，既能显示水平高，又能增加字数。写作何难之有？
翻译
实际上中考英语写作就等于两个字，翻译！
因为中考英语写作一般会给出几个要点，要求必须在文章中有所体现。文章写的再好，只要缺少要点就会扣分。所以要点写作一定不能绕过。
任何题型的英语作文都可以用翻译技巧整理出要表达的要点，然后填充到三段论和套话组成的模式中去。
虽然英语写作提示一再要求不要翻译，那只是暗示你不要翻译成毫无意义的短语，没有说不可以翻译成意义完整的句子！
理解要点——翻译要点——扩充句子——写作整理，就是内容不丢分的四大步骤。
黄金句型
1. 不用说……
It goes without saying that …
= (It is) needless to say (that) ….
= It is obvious that ….
例：It goes without saying that it pays off to keep early hours.
不用说早睡早起是值得的。
2. 在各种……之中，……
Among various kinds of …, … /= Of all the …, …
例︰Among various kinds of sports, I like jogging in particular.
在各种运动中我尤其喜欢慢跑。
3. 就我的看法……；我认为……
In my opinion, …
= To my mind, ….
= As far as I am concerned, …
= I am of the opinion that ….
例：In my opinion, playing video games not only takes much time but is also harmful to health.
在我看来，玩电脑游戏既花费时间也有害健康。
4. 随着人口的增加……With the increase/growth of the population, …
随着科技的进步……With the advance of science and technology, …
例：With the rapid development of Taiwan’s economy, a lot of social problems have come to pass.
随着台湾经济的快速发展许多社会问题产生了。
5. ……是必要的It is necessary (for sb.) to do/that …
…… 是重要的It is important/essential (for sb.) to do / that …
…… 是适当的It is proper (for sb.) to do / that …
……是紧急的It is urgent (for sb.) to do / that …
例：It is proper for us to keep the public places clean.
=It is proper that we (should) keep the public places clean.
我们应当保持公共场所清洁。
6. 花费spend … on sth. / doing sth. …
例：We shouldn’t spend too much time on something we aren’t interested in.
我们不应该在我们不感兴趣的事情上花太多的时间。
7. how 引导的感叹句
例：At least it will prove how honest you are.
那至少可以证明你很诚实。
8. 状语从句
⑴ 如果你不…，你就会… If you don’t ..., you’ll ...
例︰If you don’t keep working hard, you’ll lose the chance.
如果你不坚持努力工作，你就会失去这次机会。
⑵ 如此 ……，以至于…… so … that …
例：At that moment, I was so upset that I wanted to give up.
当时，我非常伤心，最后都想放弃了。
⑶ 每当我听到……我就忍不住感到兴奋。Whenever I hear …, I cannot but feel excited.
每当我做……我就忍不住感到悲伤。 Whenever I do …, I cannot but feel sad.
每当我想到……我就忍不住感到紧张。Whenever I think of …, I cannot but feel nervous.
每当我遭遇……我就忍不住感到害怕。Whenever I meet with …, I cannot but feel frightened.
每当我看到……我就忍不住感到惊讶。Whenever I see …, I cannot but feel surprised.
例：Whenever I think of the clean brook near my home, I cannot but feel sad.
= Every time I think of the clean brook near my home, I cannot help feeling sad.
每当我想到我家附近那一条清澈的小溪我就忍不住感到悲伤。
9. 宾语从句

10. Since + S + 过去式, S + 现在完成式.
